At the Pullman Basel Europe Hotel, we take responsibility—for our city, our environment, and future generations. That’s why we are actively committed to sustainable working practices and the careful use of natural resources.
We are currently preparing for Green Key certification—an internationally recognized voluntary sustainability certification program for hotels and many other accommodation providers. Green Key stands for high environmental standards, transparent processes, and a commitment to continuously reducing our ecological footprint. We already implement numerous environmentally friendly measures – from energy saving and water management to the conscious use of food.
Since 1994, Green Key has been a leading standard for environmental responsibility and sustainable management in the tourism industry. The program is run by the Foundation for Environmental Education. Further information on Green Key can be found here.
